A teen can start driving classes at age 14 and six months, but they cannot receive their learner's permit until they have completed the 30 hours of classroom instruction, passed the written test, and reached the age of 15.
Yes. Your teen will take the permit test with us, after completing all 4 classes, and is eligible for testing on their last day of class.
All teens under the age of 18, must hold their learner's permit for a minimum of 365 days.
No. They must first register the paperwork they will receive from Community Driving School at the Department of Motor Vehicles.
After they have completed the classroom sessions and received their learner's permit.
All of the behind-the-wheel instruction is done in one of our state-approved vehicles.
No. All of our behind the wheel instruction is conducted in a one on one setting, with a certified instructor.
Yes. Most driving schools charge an additional fee for student drive tests, but the drive test for your teen's license is included in the cost of our program.
